When I have art block, I can usually write, and the other way around. When there's a double block (art and writing) sometimes you just have to recharge by doing something else altogether, or just pulling yourself together from that external stressor which may have caused this (in my case: an insane amount of incentive-laden work overtime, so that's not something to be ashamed of!) But if you don't have the leftover residual energy to engage in creative passions without turning to drugs or alcohol, listen to your body and soul, and get some rest. That down time will do wonders. Then comes the real challenge of getting back on the wagon from which you fell.

That being said, I'll take the ladder, plz. :p
