2009-03-31 [Rondel]: Wow! Seeing it by itself really doesn't convey the SCALE of this piece -- I'm doubly impressed by your control of the larger and less wieldy tools, as well as your mastery of fine details. :)

Do you ever do smaller scale pieces? I was particularly wondering if you had any advice for the beginning wood carver, when working on the hand-tool scale (table-top pieces, nothing remotely this size -- I know my limits, and admire you all the more for not having them... LOL).
